Surprising Pairing of Sake and Herbs

I contributed an interview with Marie Chiba, a sake pairing specialist who owns a sake bar in Tokyo.

San-J, a U.S.-based soy sauce maker, has launched a website to promote Japanese fermentation (hakko) culture. Chiba is an expert in the field of sake and food pairings beyond Japanese cuisine, and this time she shows us how to pair herbs and sake.

When drinking sake, there is no need to prepare sushi or ramen. Enjoy it with foods you are familiar with!
